A temptress adorned in a maroon dress and flat black cloak beckons the viewer into her realm, her world hidden in the deep swamp within the Louisiana Cypress trees. Will-o-the-wisps glow, mischievously encouraging the viewer to wander into their fate. An alligator lurks, also waiting for the viewer to lay prey. Not only is the scene enticing and curious, it is dauntingly beautiful, magical, and full of everything we want for but shouldn’t have.
