The Well | Trinket Box
In Celtic mythology, wells and bodies of water were said to be portals to The Otherworld, and were safeguarded by the fae and water sprites. These wells were places you could offer up a coin, a trinket, or a piece of cloth in exchange for the well's magic and healing. An optimistic traveler could dip a strand of cloth into the well and tie it to a nearby tree and hope for better outcomes in the near future. This box is a well for those who wish to travel to one, but are not afforded the opportunity. Let it safeguard your trinkets while you hold onto intentions for healing and new beginnings. Stained with a homemade stain to resemble African mahogany and varnished with Gamvar in a satin finish.
