Requiem
Among the willows, a river tumbles down the rocks into a shallow pond. The second in a set of two, this hexagonal oil painting is the hope at the end of hardship and grief with a corymb of Hawthorn flowers a sign of hope. The hawthorn flowers were often worn by the brides of ancient Greece, a painful and heartbreaking symbol in this set of two. Varnished with Gamvar in a satin finish. Faux leather installed on the top for proper displaying.
