A Promise in the Dawn

Another quiet stagnant morning in a world absent of great love. The sun bursts over a sea of Forget-Me-Not's, the viewer's constant reminder of a cherished but long gone lover. A marble tower in the foreground is the host of a strand of Ivy, the likeness of true fidelity. Even after the greatest love has left this world, that undying and faithful love remains, holding captive it's keeper in an emotional grip of longing. The river running through is a symbol of the passing of time, while the viewer remains in place, unable to leave this personal Eden.
